The tourist flow from Russia to Spain increased

According to the Tourist Department of the Embassy of Spain in Moscow the tourist flow from Russia to Spain increased by 32% during the first quarter of the year in comparison with the same period of last year. The number of tourists amounted more than 70 thousand people.
More than 50% of the tourists chose holidays in Catalonia, the most popular region among the tourists. 77% of the questioned Russians said that visited Spain for leisure purposes.
It’s important to note, that almost 70% of the tourists organized their trips with the help of travel companies.
