Russia will construct a new resort

A huge complex with safari park, amusement park, aqua park with the dive centre and Chinese spa hotel will be constructed in Moscow region. The resort will occupy about 300 hectares. Safari park will occupy one third of the territory and will include almost 1,5 thousand animals of different natural zones of Russia. The project will cost 265 million Euros, it’s known that Chinese Eximbank is ready to invest such sum in this project.

But the Russian authorities busy now with the project of tourist complex in the Northern Caucasus. According to the organizers, the opening of 5 skiing resorts will help to cope with the problems of the region: unemployment and terrorism and the economy of the Republics will be doubled. However, the cost of the project has been increasing every day – now they talk about 451 billion rubles. The project looks cloudless on paper: the resorts will pay its way with the support of the government in 7-10 years and 5-10 million people will visit the area yearly for staying in “affordable” hotels with rooms for 100 USD per night. However, it will be hard to find 5-10 million Russian skiers who are able to pay 100 USD per night in 3* hotel in the Northern Caucasus.
