Organization of children’s vacations will be tested on its strength

All the camps will be checked for safety reasons and special written instructions will be given to the children and the teachers in some regions.
The tragedy that happened on July 7, 2010 in Azov camp in Yeyskiy district of Krasnodarskiy krai has brought out the most important goal. It’s necessary to put things in order in the sphere of organization of children’s holidays.
Ombudsman for the rights of children under the President of Russia, Pavel Astakhov announced that all the summer camps of the country would be checked within the next week and in case of any violations, the work of institutions would be suspended.
Special commission including the representatives of the Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of the Protection of Consumers (Rospotrebnadzor), Prosecutor General’s Office, ombudsmen for the rights of children and the representatives of the Heads of the regions will check all the children’s summer institutions. Earlier, the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev said that he would take the control over this situation and obliged to check all the places of children’s vacations.
