Russia and Morocco will be connected by direct regular flights

The destination will become year-round for the tourists from Moscow.
3 flights a week will be operated from Moscow to Casablanca and from Moscow to Agadir. There are only charter flights between the countries for the moment.
Royal Air Maroc will start operating 3 flights a week to Casablanca from October 31, 2010.
Tour operators show restrained interest to these programs. “Now we will be able to offer Morocco during the winter season, but there won’t be a lot of tourists, as winter can’t be called a beach holiday season. Nevertheless, the interest to the country during the low season will be growing as it happened with Tunisia”, said Anton Abramov, Director of Department of Capital Tour. “The destination is attractive during the winter thanks to the excursion and spa programs”, noted Sergey Ovchinnikov, Director of the Sales Department of Space Travel. But the question is whether it’s possible to load all the flights. Just to compare, there is only 1 charter flight in 10 days to Tunisia.
