Russian airlines passenger traffic increased in January 2012 by 14.3% in comparison with January 2011. According to ATOR, Russian carriers transported more than 4.5 million people in the first month of this year - by 14.6% more than in January last year.

Such conclusion was made by ATOR Analytical Service after receiving the data of the Russian Aviation Authorities for September and total indicators for 9 months of 2011.

The number of the processed requests of the agents (users of TOURINDEX) increased by 17.8% in September in comparison with the same period of last year, has announced ATOR Analytical Service.

ATOR Analytical Service announced that the total passenger traffic of the Russian air companies increased by 16.8% in August if to compare with 2010.

The word “record” became the usual one for the Turkish destination. From the beginning of the year almost every month the country demonstrates a growth in comparison with the level of last year. July 2011 didn’t become an exception.

July was a record-breaking in number of the last minute offers. The market of air transportation and consequently the market of travel product decreased by leaps and bounds in July 2011, which had a reflection in number of the requests in TOURINDEX system for the tours with the departure dates in August and September.

This year may become a record-breaking for the Croatia in number of the tourists. According to the Ministry of Tourism of Croatia, 6.2 million tourists visited the country during the first 6 months of 2011 (+8% or +450 thousand people in comparison with the same period of last year).

Such conclusion was made by ATOR Analytical Service after receiving the recent data of the Russian Aviation Authorities.

The Russians made a monthly record of the visits to Cyprus last month. 56.4 thousand Russian tourists visited the country in June 2011, announces ATOR Analytical Service.

Turkey is still a leading destination in July in number of the bookings. Such data was received by ATOR Analytical Service. 34.7% of the requests in Tourindex system were for Turkey in June. However it’s for 4.3% less than in June 2010.

According to the Russian Aviation Authorities, the total passenger traffic of the Russian air companies increased by 11.1% in May 2011 in comparison with May 2010, announces ATOR Analytical Service.

According to the results of the first quarter of 2011 the total number of the foreigners who visited Russia with the tourist purposes increased by 5.3% in comparison with the first quarter of 2010 (-20% in comparison with 2008), announces ATOR Analytical Service.

According to ATOR Analytical Service, in the first quarter of 2011 the number of the Russian tourists increased by 7.4% in comparison with the same period of last year. The growth amounted to 20.6% if to compare with 2008.

According to ATOR Analytical Service the number of the requests for Turkey in May 2011 decreased by almost one third in comparison with the same period of last year. But then the number of the requests for Greece increased almost by one third and for Spain by 22%.

According to ATOR Analytical Service in April unlike March and February the increase of the passengers’ number of international flights was noted. According to the experts such results can be explained by the opening of Egypt.
